Public Food Distribution Program
Our Primary program is weekly food giveaways Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday to the general public at our facility. Tuesdays are for all ID addresses other than Kingsland or Saint Marys, GA, Wednesdays are for those with Kingsland ID addresses, and Thursdays are for those with Saint Marys ID addresses.
Shut-in Food Delivery Program
We have volunteers who deliver food weekly to elderly and/or disabled persons who are unable to come to us. Many are on fixed incomes and just need a compassionate helping hand at that stage of their life.
Homeless Program
Volunteers deliver nonperishable food to homeless camps in our area. Many people discount and disregard the homeless, but they are people, too, who deserve love and compassion.
Backpack Buddies Program
We provide weekend meals for schoolchildren in partnership with the Camden County School System through the school guidance counselors. The counselors identify the need and work with us to discretely get the food to the children.
Military Program
We conduct monthly drive-through food giveaways for junior enlisted military personnel on Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, GA. Many of our junior enlisted military personnel live below the poverty line and qualify for some benefits.
